QPF receives funding for digital adaptation
The Queensland Poetry Festival (QPF) is among 52 arts projects to receive funding under the Queensland Government’s Digital Adaptation stream of its Arts and Cultural Recovery Package.
QPF receives $9,651 for QPF Digital, as part of the $677,383 distributed under the stream.
Digital Adaptation is part of the recovery funding of $22.5 million over two years ‘to stabilise Queensland’s arts companies, secure employment for artists and arts workers and deliver Covid-safe cultural experiences for Queensland audiences’.
In related news, on Thursday, 1 October, Queensland Minister for the Arts Leeanne Enoch launched Creative Together 2020-2030, the Queensland Government’s 10-year plan for the arts sector, which will focus on elevating First Nations arts, making ‘active’ Queensland’s local places and global digital spaces, driving social change across the state, strengthening Queensland communities and sharing sharing Queensland stories and celebrating ‘our storytellers’.
