HarperCollins Publishers has an exciting opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic individual to join the HQ Division in the role of commissioning editor on a 12-month fixed term parental leave contract.

The purpose of this role is to acquire romance and genre fiction titles for the print and digital first lists to fill specific publishing slots and revenue targets, create book ideas and manage author relationships offering the best possible author care.

To be effective in this role you will be highly motivated with strong editorial skills and an understanding of genre print fiction, particularly romance.
