QBD 2022 Books of the Year announced

QBD has announced the chain’s 2022 Books of the Year.
The winning titles are:
Fiction
- Lying Beside You (Michael Robotham, Hachette)
Nonfiction
- My Dream Time: A memoir of tennis and teamwork (Ash Barty, HarperSports)
Children’s
- A Girl Called Corpse (Reece Carter, A&U).
QBD CEO Nicholas Croydon called Barty’s memoir ‘equal parts motivating and moving’, while QBD fiction buyer Sarah McConville said Lying Beside You is a ‘gripping thriller’ that has risen up this year’s bestseller lists, and QBD children’s buyer Chelsea Lawrence said ‘among the many great children’s books released this year, A Girl Called Corpse was a clear stand out.’
