Little Book Press sales and distribution to Affirm

Affirm Press will sell and distribute titles by Little Book Press (LBP), the publishing arm of Raising Literacy Australia founded in 2017.

All proceeds from LBP are directed to the work of Raising Literacy Australia, a not-for-profit that supports families to read, talk, play and sing with their children every day.

LBP publishing director Alyson O’Brien said: ‘Affirm Press has gone from strength to strength over the years in terms of commercial success and the way in which they’ve built such a trusted and ambitious brand. LBP has an excellent history in publishing beloved children’s books, and we are ready to grow—to reach more families and create more opportunities for Australian authors and illustrators—and this partnership is the first key step.’

Affirm sales director Keiran Rogers said Affirm was ‘huge admirers of the work that Little Book Press do through their superb publishing and their partnership with Raising Literacy Australia, putting books into the hands of children who need them most’. ‘We’re delighted to be representing LBP titles to bookstores nationwide,’ Rogers said.

Affirm will begin presenting LBP’s backlist to accounts this month, with all backlist titles being sold in by October, and bookshops beginning to see LBP new releases toward the end of this year.
