Berbay to be distributed by Hardie Grant

Berbay Publishing has announced a partnership with Hardie Grant Australia for the sale and distribution of its titles.

Berbay managing director Alexandra Yatomi-Clarke applauded the leadership qualities of the Hardie Grant team and said the team’s ‘strong sales and distribution abilities are perfectly positioned for Berbay’s rapid sales growth’. ‘We are delighted to be working with such an energetic, driven and professional team,’ said Yatomi-Clarke.

As a publisher of children’s books, Berbay aims to produce high quality, original and enriching books for children that inspire creativity and curiosity. Hardie Grant children’s managing director Kate Brown said that her team has long admired Berbay books and is ‘delighted to be partnering with the publisher to bring these beautiful and innovative books to readers across Australia and New Zealand’.

In 2022, Berbay Publishing partnered with Vision Australia (VA) to produce children’s books. ‘It has been a pleasure to work with the creative team at Berbay,’ said a VA spokesperson. ‘Their passion for what they do has allowed us to build a successful partnership developing inclusive, inspiring books that provide representation to the blind and low vision community. The innovation and dedication of the team has been instrumental in developing a ground-breaking series that represents diverse ways of reading,’

Backorders can be placed at Harper Entertainment Distribution Services (HEDS) for September new releases onwards. Backlist titles will be available to order from 1 August onwards. Agency change details will appear in Wednesday’s newsletter.
