The territory includes working with key individual stores, working at a head office level for bookstore chains and independent bookstore buying groups. With exclusive distribution agreements for renowned brands like Five Mile, Arcturus, and Igloo, as well as partnerships with Knock Knock, Pomegranate, and Blue Angel, Brumby Sunstate offers a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships at a store level with key existing bookstores, and at a head office level, with key bookstore chains, and independent bookstore buying groups.
• Identify and approach new potential bookstores within the book trade industry.
• Present and promote Brumby Sunstate’s extensive range of exclusive books and brands.
• Attend trade shows, book fairs, and industry events to showcase new titles and products.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth and expansion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales within the book trade industry.
• Familiarity with the publishing industry, bookstores, and wholesalers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for selling books.
• Flexibility to travel interstate every 2-3 months, depending on the candidate’s location.
• Experience in selling at a head office level would be a plus.
