Inaugural Varuna Ann Moyal Nonfiction Fellowship winners

Varuna, the National Writers’ House, has announced Sarah Holland-Batt, Cathy Perkins and Geordie Williamson as the recipients of the inaugural Ann Moyal Nonfiction Fellowship.

Holland-Batt, Perkins and Williamson were chosen as the recipients from over 150 applications for the fellowship, which was set up to encourage ‘excellence in nonfiction writing, with the aim to support writers developing an original work with research at the heart’. The resulting residencies will run from 27 November to 18 December.

Assessors also highly commended the entries of Neha Kale, Sonia Orchard and Micaela Sahhar. More information about the Ann Moyal Nonfiction Fellowship is on the Varuna website.
