My Little Bookshop wins National Retail Association award

West Australian indie bookshop My Little Bookshop was named Small Retailer of the Year (shopfront) at the National Retail Association’s National Retail Awards on 26 October.

My Little Bookshop is based in Rockingham, WA. Owner Kerry Ridley began the business as a travelling bookshop in 2019 before opening a brick-and-mortar shop in 2022.

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, QBD was a finalist for the Large Retailer of the Year category within the shopfront awards, and bookseller Cassey-Leigh Robertson, from QBD’s Rockhampton store, was an individual finalist in the category of Retail Leader of the Year.
