Fourth Wing wins 2023 Dymocks Book of the Year

Fourth Wing (Rebecca Yarros, Hachette Australia) has been named Dymocks 2023 Book of the Year, and Come Together: Things every Aussie kid should know about the First Peoples (Isaiah Firebrace, illus by Jaelyn Biumaiwai, Hardie Grant Explore) has been named the Young Readers Book of the Year.   Now in their sixth year, the annual awards provide ‘not only the honour and recognition, but also substantial ongoing retail support of the winning books’, said Dymocks. Books for both awards are nominated by Dymocks booksellers, with a vote to decide the winner.

Last year’s winner of Dymocks Book of the Year was Lessons in Chemistry (Bonnie Garmus) with Runt (Craig Silvey, A&U) winning Young Readers Book of the Year.
