New Collins store in Port Macquarie
A new Collins Booksellers store has opened in Port Macquarie, on the north coast of New South Wales.
Located at 64 Clarence Street, the store is the 26th franchise store in the Collins chain. Local resident Wendy Ranger is the franchise owner.
The store held a grant opening on 23 November, marking ‘a significant chapter in the literary landscape of Port Macquarie, offering residents and visitors a haven for literary exploration and community engagement’, said Collins in a statement.
Collins said the new store would offer ‘a curated collection of books catering to diverse tastes and ages’.
Said Collins managing director William Smith: ‘The Port Macquarie franchise, under Wendy Ranger’s passionate ownership, is poised to continue the Collins Booksellers tradition, providing a welcoming space for locals to indulge in their love for books.’
