CLNZ Contestable Fund Grant 2023 recipients announced

In Aotearoa New Zealand, Copyright Licensing New Zealand (CLNZ) has announced the 15 successful recipients of the 2023 Contestable Fund Grants.
Project funding was awarded to the following individuals and organisations:
- Akaroa Community Arts Council (NZ$5000)
- Anne Bennett-Eustace (NZ$6000)
- Beyond Reality Media (NZ$5000)
- Shana Chandra (NZ$2000)
- Drama NZ Mahi Whakaari o Aotearoa (NZ$8000)
- Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival (NZ$2490)
- Forest & Bird (NZ$5000)
- Mairātea Mohi, Craccum Magazine (NZ$5000)
- Mani Malaeulu, Empowerment Training (NZ$7000)
- Moa Press (NZ$3500)
- New Zealand Railway and Locomotive Society (NZ$5000)
- One Tree House (NZ$10,000)
- Oratia Media (NZ$4500)
- Pacific Islanders in Publishing (NZ$4000)
- Small Press Fest (NZ$2500).
As part of CLNZ’s Cultural Fund, these grants ‘support strategic projects that demonstrate New Zealand publishing sector growth’, with ‘clearly defined and measurable outcomes that [are] aligned with the CLNZ Cultural Fund’s objectives’.
