Key account manager, Sydney

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our dedicated team and drive the sales of our exceptional books and digital content to online, library, airport and specialist accounts across Australia and New Zealand.

Bloomsbury publishes many of the world’s biggest authors, including J. K. Rowling, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sarah J. Maas, Ann Patchett, Isabel Allende, William Dalrymple, Lisa Taddeo, Susanna Clarke, Katherine Rundell and Johann Hari.

This role involves:

• Managing customer relationships with key accounts, creating sales plans and delivering sales budgets for both print and digital
• Managing a co-operative advertising budget
• Driving sales in specialist channels, from gaming to education
• Collaborating with our international digital team on strategy
• Working with metadata; managing order processes and workflows
• Providing market feedback to the business
• Some travel (within Australia) is a requirement in the role.

Experience creating sales reports and/or using Bookmaster would be an advantage, as would some understanding of book warehousing and logistics or online wholesaling/retailing.

As part of our team, you’ll work with both local and global colleagues and stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of team functions and activities.
