Kate Mayor, Dymock’s merchandise manager for books, described the list as ‘a testament to the power of books and the passionate Booklover community of readers we have here in Australia’. Mayor also congratulated Pip Williams: ‘We’re even more thrilled that a bookish Aussie gem was a favourite with readers, who voted The Bookbinder of Jericho to the number one spot.’

The full list—which Dymocks said resulted from over 116,000 votes from readers—is available on the bookseller’s website.

[Ed note: This post was corrected to include the Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros in the top 10.]
