For over thirty years, Walker Books Australia has published award-winning and outstanding children’s books for readers of all ages.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time editor to join our editorial team in our Sydney office. The editor will be responsible for the timely editing and project management of several titles, including picture books, illustrated and non-illustrated fiction and YA.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience as a book editor, and be highly organised with an eye for detail and have superior knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation. In-house experience and tertiary qualifications in literature are an advantage.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
