Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize 2024 shortlist announced

The Australian Book Review has announced the shortlist for the 2024 Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize.
The shortlisted works are:
- ‘First Snow’ by Kerry Greer (WA)
- ‘Pornwald’ by Jill Van Epps (US)
- ‘M.’ by Shelley Stenhouse (US).
Worth a total of $12,500 in prize money, the award received more than 1300 entries. The winner will be announced at Gleebooks in Sydney on 15 August.
Last year’s prize was won by Rowan Heath for their piece ‘The Mannequin’.
