Lake Press publishes books that entertain and educate, specialising in innovative illustrated books for children. An exciting job opportunity has arisen in our Hawthorn office for a highly creative, experienced graphic designer.

Our ideal candidate has significant experience in the book publishing industry, preferably in children’s publishing, along with tertiary qualifications in graphic design and high-level knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop for Mac. We are looking for a team player who can coordinate their own workload to tight deadlines. Good knowledge of pre-press workflow and file management skills are obligatory. The ability to work efficiently, with close attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills, while multi-tasking is essential.
