Smith Street Books is seeking an experienced book publisher or commissioning editor to join our creative team.

The successful candidate will publish across a range of illustrated titles, including food and drink, lifestyle, art, fashion, interiors, pop culture and gift.

Working closely with the managing director, publishers and editors, the ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role on highly designed and illustrated titles.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a vibrant and creative team in a rewarding, full-time role with a competitive salary.

The role is based in Fitzroy, Melbourne, but a Sydney-based publisher willing to travel regularly will also be considered.
