Local authors on Dublin Literary Award 2025 longlist

Several works by authors from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand have been longlisted for the 2025 Dublin Literary Award, worth €100,000 (A$165,236).

The Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand longlisted titles include:

  • At the Grand Glacier Hotel (Laurence Fearnley, Penguin)
  • Audition (Pip Adam, Giramondo)
  • Death of a Foreign Gentleman (Steven Carroll, Fourth Estate)
  • Edenglassie (Melissa Lucashenko, UQP)
  • The In-Between (Christos Tsiolkas, A&U)
  • Lioness (Emily Perkins, Bloomsbury)
  • Stone Yard Devotional (Charlotte Wood, A&U).

Longlisted titles were nominated by 83 libraries from 34 countries around the world.
