As an independent, creative and innovative publisher, we deliver excellence and originality across books, audiobooks, and digital content to a global audience. Join us in shaping the future of publishing at a company that values creativity, diversity, and collaboration.

The position suits an organised, creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and publicity campaigns for assigned titles to maximise exposure and sales.
  • Collaborate with media, international teams, local sales teams, and authors to execute effective campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing assets (POS, promotional materials, newsletters) and work with designers, freelancers, and internal teams.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and literary festival organisers to enhance title promotion.
  • Plan and coordinate author tours, media appearances, and events to maximise publicity and sales opportunities.
  • Manage campaign budgets to ensure the most effective use of resources and achieve targeted results.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in marketing and publicity, preferably within publishing or the arts industry.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a strong creative mindset.
  • A solid understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering campaigns within financial constraints.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including authors, media, and event organisers.

Why Join Bloomsbury?

  • Be part of a vibrant, creative team that thrives on collaboration and innovation.
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile campaigns and make a tangible impact on the publishing landscape.
  • A supportive and inclusive company culture that values diversity and fosters growth.
  • Hybrid working arrangements, plus so much more!
