As the year ends, and work winds down for some, we hope you take some time to soak in the last Independent Publishing newsletter for 2017.
This issue contains local and international news heralding changes next year for some of the big players in the self-publishing field, notices from the ISBN team including an interesting FAQ section that could answer questions you may not have had time to ask, and two articles with helpful tips from our DIY experts about how to format your books or change your sales strategy.
Also, hear from authors experimenting with self-publishing alongside traditional publishing in this issue’s feature story, and don’t forget to check out our interview with author Alison Croggon, who spoke to us about self-publishing her poetry collection this year.
Finally, if you haven’t had a chance to take our quick reader survey, it’s not too late. The survey is open until 31 December 2017 to give us the best opportunity to collect as many responses as possible. We thank all those who have already taken the survey to help us identify and create the best content for future newsletters.
We wish you all a safe and happy festive season and look forward to continuing to be of service to the independent publishing and independent publishing community in 2018.
