Twenty-six writers and organisations among latest OzCo grants recipients

Twenty-six writers and literary organisations are among the 196 recipients of the latest round of Australia Council funding grants, worth a total of $6.4m.

Fifteen writers and groups received arts projects funding, worth up to $50,000. The recipients are:

  • Archer Magazine
  • Australian Children’s Laureate
  • Christine Balint
  • Michael Brennan
  • Margaret Cronin
  • Briohny Doyle
  • Angela Gardner
  • Sarah Holland-Batt
  • Julie Koh
  • Mark O’Flynn
  • Marija Pericic
  • Inga Simpson
  • Emma Viskic
  • Josephine Wilson
  • Yen-Rong Wong

Seven writing organisations received arts projects funding, worth up to $100,000. The recipients are:

  • ACT Writers Centre
  • Adelaide Festival
  • Express Media
  • Word Travels
  • Magabala Books
  • Melbourne Writers’ Festival
  • NSW Writers’ Centre

Recipients of development grants for individuals and groups in the literature category were:

  • Tamryn Bennett
  • Rebekah Clarkson
  • Madonna Duffy
  • Jessie Tu
